⚙️ Quick Setup Guide
Import the VM: Open VirtualBox, go to File $\rightarrow$ Import Virtual Appliance, and select the downloaded 1.3.ova file.
Network Settings:
During import, make sure to check the box for "Reinitialise the MAC address of all network cards".
Boot Up: Start the Virtual Machine.
Connect Your Cable: Plug in your K+D-Can USB cable. Go to the VirtualBox top menu and select Devices $\rightarrow$ USB, then choose your cable (it usually contains "600" in the name).
Verify COM Port: Inside the VM, right-click This PC $\rightarrow$ Manage $\rightarrow$ Device Manager. Expand Ports (COM & LPT) and ensure the USB Serial Port is set strictly to COM1.
Tip: If needed, check the USB Drivers shortcut on the desktop for maximum compatibility (subdirectories include options for original or "fake" cables). If adjustments are required, follow the included Readme instructions.
