📋 Prerequisites & Requirements
What We Need From You:
For Route or Evo Maps: Only your vehicle's VIN is required.
For General Activations: We need both your VIN and the Software Version from your Head Unit.
 
How to check: Go to Navigation $\rightarrow$ Settings $\rightarrow$ Position and Version $\rightarrow$ Version Information.
I-Level & Connection Requirements (SWT Packs):
Up to I-Level 1807: Activations can be performed via USB.
From I-Level 1811 onwards: Requires an ENET cable (Note: ICOM is not supported for this method).
Requirements: A working internet connection is required during the process.
Note on Fullscreen CarPlay: Compatibility depends on your current I-Level, but Head Units can be updated if necessary.
 
Hardware Requirement:
To use Apple CarPlay, a Wi-Fi antenna must be installed in the vehicle. This is factory-equipped on cars with SALAPA options 6CP, 6NS, 6NW, or 6WD, or it can be retrofitted using BMW Part No. 61 11 9372321.
